They are better than I thought they would be. Both magnificent knives. Stag is beautiful, love your pin work on the navaja, love the thick blade on the heavy knife, love the workmanship. (I've bought a few custom slip-joints who's springs are so strong they'd take your finger off if it got in the way, how come you can get it right, yours are both excellent) I think you can tell i'm very happy with them. As you know, my knife arrived this evening. As a musician, I look to my art as the "ecstasy of chasing perfection." I realize that I'll never play the perfect improvisation, but I've spent my life chasing that perfection. And there's ecstasy in that chase. I believe that this beautiful knife is a symbol of that ecstasy as well. If I asked you if you've ever created the perfect knife, I suspect you'd say, "no." Oh ya!!!!!!!!! It is wonderful! The attention to detail on all the edges is masterful! I have some custom knives in Stag and some with the vine work on the blade back but all the other builders don’t buff the sharp edges like the way you did ! It has become my new favorite knife!! The texture on the Red Deer horn is fabulous . Excellent choice by the way!
